It’s time to fill you in on what I’m working on as Yvonne Kohano. I’ve been refilling my creative well with writing workshops, public speaking to readers and writers, and craft conferences. I think I’m ready to burst!

Flynn’s Crossing Series

I’m excited about the release of Measure Twice, Love Once, the eighth full-length book in my Flynn’s Crossing series – and the tenth series book overall. It comes out on Amazon Kindle and as a paperback on April 21, next Tuesday. I hope you’ve preordered your copy! It will be available in other ebook formats later in the month. To celebrate book #10, I reduced the price of the first book in the series, Pictures of Redemption, to 99 cents! (Remember the angst of Serena and Dane?) This is a great opportunity to introduce your friends to the girl tribe and wolf pack in my northern California town. Consider the gift of a good read for that special friend – and don’t forget Mother’s Day is coming up too!

On the Super-Suspenseful Side 

What else is happening? I’m glad you asked! I’ve been working – and reworking – a standalone romantic suspense with geo-political implications. The story is complicated, which is what gives me grief in writing it. (Yes, we writers struggle with these things. We wish it happened like magic…) Stay tuned for more about the Beyond the Shutter characters in a later newsletter.

And the psychological thriller trilogy also races along. (I can’t spend too many days straight at it – it scares even me!) I hope to have that available for you in rapid releases – separating each one by only a month. That is, if writing it doesn’t make me hide under my bed!
