Spirits vs. Progress- Who Will Win?

Spirits vs. Progress – Who Will Win?

Who’s next for romance in Flynn’s Crossing?

Old bones, predestined love, and troubled adversaries clash as an unlikely relationship soars to conquer the spirit world.  The story of Tess and Powers is heating up Main Street!

Yes, it’s finally out!  “Blooms on the Bones”, Book 5 in the Flynn’s Crossing series, begins with a little mystery, stirs in the spirit world, attempts to build on shaky ground, and ends with – but wait, I don’t want to spoil it for you!

Many of you told me how much you wanted to learn more about Powers, who stirred things up for his brother Dane in “Pictures of Redemption”, the first book in the series.  Dane and Powers ended up on a less than brotherly footing.  Can they mend their relationship?  What else could drive them apart?

Meanwhile, Tess had her own run-ins with Powers, leading up to, during and after Serena and Dane’s wedding.  The proof of something stronger brewing is right in front of them though, in digital form, and we all know the camera never lies!   But she’s convinced that no matter how real things feel, they won’t last long, particular when her past mixes with her present and then – but no, I can’t do that to you.

I’ll come right out and say it – I LOVE the way this book turned out!  It’s a little edgier, a little more complicated, and a little more “out there” than the previous books.  Because it’s so much ‘more’, you’ll be seeing it pop up in print ads in the coming months.   I’m particularly excited about the half page ad in the RT Book Review August edition, which is distributed at the ThrillerFest and RWA conferences in July.

I believe that this will be a break-out book for the characters of Flynn’s Crossing, and I hope you agree.  Good or bad, please share your thoughts on review pages where you purchased the book, on Goodreads, or as a comment on my website, www.yvonnekohano.com.  And I’m planning a video clip to share more about the behind-the-scenes of writing this book, so if you have questions you’d like me to answer, please let me know!

Enjoy “Blooms on the Bones”, but be warned – it might keep you up late!

Thanks Jerrie! I’m glad you’re enjoying them – and thanks for the review! I’m on GoodReads too. Book Six is ticking along – though I have to admit to getting distracted by my suspense series as well. I’m just happy my writing brings enjoyment and escapism to my readers. It certainly does to me! Hugs – Yvonne
